Kentucky Wildcats (5-0) vs. Texas A&M Aggies (3-2)
Location: Kyle Field College Station, Texas
Start Time: 7 PM EST
TV Channel: ESPN
Last meeting: Texas A&M beat Kentucky 7-6 Sept. 19, 1953, at Stoll Field in Lexington in the season opener for both teams.
Odds: The Aggies opened up as a 6.5-point favorite. Kentucky has won their last three games by double digits.
At the beginning of the season we penciled this in as a loss. That has changed. We have a real chance to win this game.
The Aggies have two losses but don’t let that fool you, those losses came to #1 Alabama and #4 Clemson. It does make me feel better that Arkansas was able to put 17 points up against them.
Due to the (ridiculous) targeting call against Kash Daniel, he will not play the 1st half. Honestly I kinda like this. Our team plays great with a chip on their shoulder.
Trayveon Williams is their Benny Snell (Just not as good). The Texas A&M is a 5-foot-9, 200-pound Houston product has run for 582 yards (Snell has 639) and six touchdowns and is averaging 6.1 yards a carry. The good news is we have Josh Allen.
The game is a nationally televised game on ESPN. Stoops will be facing off against his former boss, Jimbo Fisher.
As usual ESPN doubts us:
I think this will be a really close game. We pullout the victory 28-24 over the Aggies. It’s going to be a very tough environment in College Station, but our team is hungry.
