Missouri Tigers vs. Kentucky Wildcats
Game time: 4:00 p.m. EST on October 27th
TV Channel: SEC Network
Online Stream: WatchESPN
Odds: Kentucky opened as a 6-point underdog. It has currently been between 6.5-7 points.
Our Kentucky Wildcats take on the Missouri Tigers at 4pm on Saturday. Missouri is a high powered offense that gains over 500 yards per game. It helps that we have one of the best defenses in college football. We have to keep them from hitting their average of 39 points per game, shouldn’t be too difficult since we are 2nd in the nation in fewest points allowed per game, at 12.9.
It’s going to be a game of their offense against our defense. I think if we can hold them under 350 total offensive yards and 24 or less points, we walk away with a win.
Defensively they could have trouble stopping us. It’s just a question of how well we execute. 18 passing yards will not be enough to get it done against this team. Benny Snell will have an opportunity for a big game, but we need some quarterback play to balance it out.
ESPN predicts a Missouri victory, giving them a 64.5% chance of winning:
Vegas doesn’t like us either:
Their high powered offense will be out of sorts with our defense. Our offense will find a little groove with Missouri’s less than stellar defense. It will be a 28-24 upset victory for the Wildcats!
