Selection Committee Says Kentucky Playing In Louisville Is “No Issue”

Today, the chair of the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee said that there is no issue with fairness for Kentucky to play their regional games in Louisville.

Jerry Tipton first reported-

“Stanford A.D. Bernard Muir, the chair of the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee, said there would be no problem with bracketing Kentucky as a No. 2 seed with a path to Louisville. No issue with No. 1 seed wondering about fairness playing No. 2 UK in Louisville.”

Currently Kentucky is projected as a two seed, but I see that changing if they lose Friday or Saturday. As a two seed, this is important news giving up hope of playing in Louisville as the one or two seed now.
