Former Wildcat Gets New Head Coach Position

A former player from the 1996 NCAA Championship team has a new coaching gig.

BYU has officially hired Utah Valleys Mark Pope as its next head basketball coach.

After his time at Kentucky, Pope played for Indiana Pacers, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Denver Nuggets in the NBA.

Pope was formerly an assistant at BYU from 2011-2015.
