Kentucky has filled the void left by Gunnar Hoak. Kentucky has landed graduate transfer Sawyer Smith.
Sawyer Smith played for Neal Brown’s Troy team last year, leading them to 10 wins. Smith completed 62.9 percent of his passes for 1,669 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Excited to announce that I'm going to spend my last seasons as a Graduate Transfer at THE University of Kentucky!! Words can't begin to explain how proud my family and I are to be apart of the #BBN @UKFootball pic.twitter.com/b223Ixk3td

Smith will be competing with Terry Wilson for the starting job. Ultimately I think he will fill the role as back-up for Wilson.
