Former Kentucky Head Coach Gets Job In XFL

Former Kentucky Football Head Coach, Hal Mummee is taking his talents out of the NCAA and into the XFL.

It’s been reported that Hal Mummee has accepted a position as the offensive coordinator for the XFL team in Dallas. Yes, the same XFL team that Bob Stoops coaches.

Mummee wasn’t with Kentucky very long but he coached the team through a few big wins. One being the win over Louisville for the first ever game in Cardinal Stadium (previously Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium).

Another big win was ending the drought against Alabama. Kentucky had gone winless against Alabama since 1922.

His time at Kentucky ended in 2001, Hal Mumme resigned amid NCAA recruiting rules violations.
