Dabo Swinney has developed a reputation for pulling the top recruit from states. He has recently turned some of his focus to Kentucky as well.
Swinney started with the 2020 class. He landed a commitment from the No. 1 overall recruit in the state, Walker Parks, of Lexington’s Frederick Douglass High School.
Parks is a 6-foot-5, 275-pound offensive tackle, Parks’ father, David Park, played for the University of Kentucky as an offensive lineman.
Now Swinney has moved onto the 2021 class. Jager Burton who will likely be the No. 1 recruit in Kentucky has received his offer from Clemson.

The 6-foot-3, 271-pound offensive guard is also from Lexington’s Frederick Douglass High School.
As we have seen with Clemson and Alabama, with the increase of in-state talent we will be fighting the top schools. I trust Stoops and Marrow to compete against them though.
