Blackshear has visited with Arkansas and Florida. He will visit the Kentucky Wildcats and Tennessee Volunteers this week.
Kentucky’s chances look good for Blackshear after he said he wanted to go to a school that will compete in the NCAA Tournament. Kentucky will be the preseason No. 2 team in the country in most rankings.
Last season at Virginia Tech, Blackshear averaged 14.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 29.9 minutes per game.
As a graduate-transfer, Blackshear will be immediately eligible wherever he transfers.
